The Vintage guitar has an aged satin finish making it look authentically retro and attractive. The neck and fingerboard are made of solid maple which is a very durable and resistant wood. The Stagg Slowhand has 21 frets, 3 single coil pickups,a 5-way switch, a classic tremolo, nickel plated die-cast machineheads, Nubone nut and D'addario strings.

Solid Alder Body

Alder is a classic wood choice for this style of guitar. Not especially dense, it’s a lightweight, closed-pore wood that has a resonant, balanced tone brighter than other hardwoods, with a little more emphasis in the upper midrange. It imparts excellent sustain and sharp attack.

Solid Maple Neck & Fingerboard

Again, maple is the genuine first choice of tonewood for this classic style of guitars. This dense wood is hard-wearing and produces a bright, zesty tone with lots of sustain. It offers a tight top end with a reflective sound.

D'addario Strings

D'addario strings have a long legacy and have lead the industry for nearly a century. They were the first string makers to use machine wound strings and therefore monopolised the string making industry. The family has a history of 8 generations of string makers and this experience shows in the high quality of their strings whether it's for guitars or orchestral instruments, D'addario is a great choice.
